Description

A magnificent pair of scent bottles by one of the finest London silversmith's, William Comyns.

The bottles are made from a heavy crystal with beautiful cutting showing through the panels of sterling silver. The bottles are clad with the most sensational pierced or reticulated silver and the silver clad hinged lid has a button to release the cap. Once opened the interior reveals the original cut crystal stoppers to keep the precious contents safe inside.

The silver is fully hallmarked for 1893/1894, a true Victorian pair in splendid condition. Each measures 2 3/4" square x 5 1/2" tall.
