The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15,930,003 dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1909 with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company (who had a close association with Waltham). The front of the case is in good condition and the back has a little unevenness and marking.
The lens is in good order.
The signed white enamel dial has a few hairline cracks, mainly to the bottom half of the dial. The outer minute track with the red numbers is a handsome feature.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
