Antique English Sterling Silver Menu Holder - 1901

Description

A most unusual late Victorian / Edwardian menu holder in the form of an Artist's easel with a wonderful front panel in the form of two large flowers surrounded by foliage. These are beautifully engraved, bringing them to life.

The back retains the original folding easel stand. There are several matching hallmarks for Birmingham 1902 together with the maker's initials for C.E. Williams.

With a quick menu made up on a computer, these are wonderful to use at dinner parties or buffets, they really make a wonderful and unexpected addition to any table-top.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" tall.
