The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a key-winding movement which is working nicely. There is a key included with the watch. The movement is signed and the serial number of 8708775 dates it back to 1898. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and the front is in good condition.

The watch glass is in nice condition.
The dial is signed A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass. The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye and slight nibbling to the edge of the sub seconds hole.

The watch has gold hands and a blued steel sub second hand.
The watch comes with a nickel albert which measures 25cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
