A good quality Scottish mid Victorian mahogany two door wardrobe dating to circa 1860/70 by highly esteemed Glasgow cabinetmakers, Wylie & Lochhead. With a rounded rectangular moulded cornice above two arched panelled doors and standing on a plinth base and featuring a lovely rich colour and well patterned grain.The doors open to reveal a semi-fitted interior with a full length and shorter hanging space and two short drawers above a long base drawer. At present there is one hanging rail and hooks but we will fit another rail if required. The doors are fitted with brass catches and an improved four lever lock and whilst there is no key a good locksmith should be able to cut one if given the lock, the drawer all have original gilt swan neck handles.
