Description

A splendid French mahogany glazed bookcase from the Empire period. Of good construction in solid mahogany and mahogany veneers onto a solid oak carcas. The bookcase is decorated throughout with inset brass work (moldings and flutings) which is very attractive to the eye. The pair of glazed doors (lockable, key supplied) open to access a display space with 5 adjustable shelves. This bookcase offers a very generous amount of storage/display space. With have had it sympathetically repolsihed to a very high standard in our workshops. It is now offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
