An attractive inlaid mahogany linen press from the Channel Islands. Very well constructed in the late Georgian period in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. The top section has a pair of cupboard doors (lockable with key supplied) which open to access a interior with two fitted shelves. The base section has a series of 3 long , graduated drawers , each fitted with imposing brass handles and escutcheons. The press is surmounted by an over-sailing cornice. The whole piece is decorated throughout with refined inlaid detailing including shell motifs to the cornice and skirt. It stands well on swept bracket feet. This stunning linen press is offered for sale in excellent condition, it has a lovely mellow colour and patina and is ready to go straight into the home. It breaks into 3 pieces of ease of transportation and installation.
