A Stunning Quality Thuya, Ebony & Marquetry Inlaid Victorian Period Antique Coffee Table

Description

A stunning quality thuya, ebony & marquetry inlaid Victorian Period antique coffee table. The oval top veneered in thuya with an ebonised border and a fine quality central marquetry panel. One side has a rectangular mahogany lined frieze drawer and the opposing side has a classical wedgwood plaque. Supported on turned reeded columns, swept supports in amboyna and ebony and with brass and porcelain castors, united by a turned and reeded stretcher with ormolu mounts throughout. English circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 47" wide x 24" deep x 19" high

Condition: This table is in stunning condition. It has been reduced from a higher Victorian side table to form a coffee table.
