A Fine Quality Boulle Victorian Period Credenza

Description

A Fine Quality boulle Victorian Period credenza. The shaped ebonised top above a fine boulle work frieze and having bowed glazed end doors opening to reveal silk lined shelves. The central rectangular panelled door having a stunning central boulle panel with further boulle work to the corners and columns. Having fine quality cast ormolu mounts throughout, the whole raised on an ebonised and brass inlaid plinth. English in the French boulle taste circa 1860-1880

Dimensions: 64" wide x 17" deep x 41" high

Condition: This credenza is in stunning condition, all the carcase is made from the finest mahogany and retains the original brass locks, an indication this was made by one of the finest cabinet makers.
