French Mahogany Marble Topped Commode

Description

A lovely French mahogany commode from the Empire period. Well made in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers onto an oak carcas. The original, variagated grey marble top is very appealing. There is a series of 3 long graduated drawers, fitted with their original brass handles. Above these there is an additional drawer in the freeze. The three main drawers are flanked by bold columns with brass capitols. This stylish commode is offered for sale in excellent original condition with a nice rich colour, ready to go straight into the home.
