The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number of 21723246 dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is 10ct gold plate and was originally “guaranteed to wear 20 years”. There are a couple of fairly light scratches to the front of the case but overall it is in good condition for its age. The small glass lens has a little marking.

The winding stem pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, the lens is in good condition, as is the signed white enamel dial. It has blued steel hands with the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read even when the front cover is closed. There is also a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single albert, measuring just over 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
