18th. Century Delft Posset Pot. Circa 1740

Description

Good 18th. century delftware lidded poset pot with side handles. Beautifully hand decorated in blue with geometric designs and dots and having 'blue dash' handles. All in fine condition except damage to inner lip of base which cannot be seen when lid is on. Lovely blue colour.

Size; 6" diameter, 9.5" handle to handle, 5" high (incl. lid).
