Chinese Japanese Oriental Display Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb Oriental black lacquer display cabinet. The top having a centre carving of a dragon amongst stylised clouds with mythical fish upstands to either side. Through the glazed front the various shaped shelves and decoratively carved back can be viewed. The side styles with further carved dragons and each end has a glass carved framed door with working locks and keys. The whole stands on a shaped base which has conforming carving and 2 useful drawers.
