Fine example of the classic late Georgian Welsh oak kitchen cupboard of a type known locally as a ‘Cwpwrdd Bara Caws’ or bread and cheese cupboard c.1810. Two door cupboard top with the vented door panels typical of the form over a cupboard base with two drawers at the waist. Attractive patterned piercing to the vented panels, ebony escutcheons and period brass knobs. Earlier repairs to the legs, otherwise excellent condition with original back and floor boards. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
