Description

A Burr walnut & walnut Victorian Period antique pedestal desk. Having a rounded cornered rectangular top constructed using solid walnut and a green inset leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. With an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers each having finely figured burr walnut drawer fronts, turned walnut drawer pulls, brass escutcheons and the original working locks and keys. The solid figured walnut ends and polished back, all raised on a rounded cornered plinth. England circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 48" wide x 30" deep x 29" high (kneehole 19" wide x 23" high)

Condition: This desk is in excellent condition
