Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
This piece would have originally had a full complement of drawers for use as a specimen cabinet – now with two drawers remaining and two shelves added which are adjustable it could be used as a bookcase or cupboard and would look stunning in a hall, study or living room.

Wear and marks commensurate with age. Some of the beading to the door is a replacement. Missing lock to door. Key does not work. Shelves to interior are replacements.
