This delightful piece is enamelled in vivid sky blue, in the centre there is a hand painted enamel of a romantic pastoral scene, it has no doubt been copied from one of Angelica Kauffman’s 18th Century Paintings, we have two lovers sitting under a tree in romantic mood
The compact is in excellent condition with no chips to the enamel, the mirror is in good condition, it piece opens and shuts nicely and it is fully hallmarked
