This is an appealing antique plant stand, a Victorian torchere dating to the late 19th century.

Quality dark mahogany with a polished finish

Raised on talon and egg feet

A tripod of cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf knees

Turned stem with fluted vase

Extended tapering riser decorated with wheatsheaf carvings

Ringed neck displaying carved foliate detail

Lipped gallery to turned platform

Solid and stable, ideal for a trailing plant
