Here we have this delightful bureau bookcase.
This would have been made in the 19thc. and comes in 2 parts, the main part sits on the padfoot stand.
The interior cupboard is fascinating as it opens to reveal a shrine.

The pair of glazed bookcase doors with yew-wood atragals open to reveal the original plush velvet lined display shelves.
Above the bookcase you have decorative blind fret and then the dramatic swan neck pediment mounted in gilt brass
