Description

A beautiful William IV mahogany pole screen. The original screen embroidered with an exotic bird resting on a rose tree branch with various red and white roses within a foliage border. The cross grain moulded frame having very good carved decoration and the screen is adjustable via a brass fitting to the back. The base having a turned flat sided vase shaped column joined to a gadrooned ring with turned platform and 3 scroll shaped feet. The whole in very good original condition. Max.Height...57''/ 145cm. Width...19.5''/ 49.5cm. Depth...16''/ 40cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £38.
