The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 425, which is working nicely. The movement has the Rotary wings logo.
The case is 9 carat gold and it is hallmarked inside the case back for London 1955. The case back has an inscription which reads ‘Ivy–Leslie, 1932-1957’. Overall the case is in good condition with just minor surface marking.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a textured finish which has its original finish and it has darkened with age but still easy to read the time. Original hands, centre seconds hand and faded minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a Rotary box, probably later than the watch itself.
