Pair Signed Bruchon Spelter Figures

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1910-1930 a pair of finely detailed and good quality signed Bruchon spelter figures. The foundry mark reads: Fabrication Francais - Paris - Made in France and the Bruchon signature can be seen on the base of both figures in photo 3.

They measure 44cm in height and approximately 24cm in width, and the original bases are 18cm in diameter.

One figure is a winged cherub holding a stick with sheaths of corn and the word AMOUR in brass on the base, whilst the other is holding a posy with the word INNOCENCE on her base. The colours, especially the soft green are not as bright or harsh as may appear in some of the photos.
