Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The three shaped drawers are graduated in depth & have the original brass handles, plus fine dovetails. The flap opens up & is supported by two automatic loafers that come out as the flap is lowered. The inside is well fitted out with pigeon holes, shelves & three small drawers. It also has a tooled leather writing surface. This bureau is in excellent condition & has a lovely colour. I would date it to around the 1910-20's period.
