Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table C.1840.

Description

Superb mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1840. Exceptional and original 39½" diameter marble top featuring a shaped edge with concentric rings designed to stop spilt drinks from dripping onto the floor. Over a mahogany veneered apron with carved mouldings, raised on a turned column and shaped tripod legs with scrolling acanthus leaf detail and white ceramic castors. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
