Antique Early Victorian Oak Hall Bench Settle C1850

Description

This is a gorgeous early victorian oak hall bench settle and dating from around 1850. Constructed from solid oak it has a moulded top rail to the panelled back with carved divider between the panels. It has lovely shaped arms on turned bobbin supports the lift up seat opens for storage and is above three feilded panels to the front with carved dividers and it is moulded to the base with panelled sides and stands on small bun feet.

A lovely piece that has original patination and good colour and oozes the charm and character of the period.

It measures:

Height to back 40" X seat height 18" X 19" deep X 42" wide
