Antique 1909 Silver Stem Winding Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1909 silver stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 48.8mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is silver and there are silver import marks inside the two case backs for London 1909 with a case importers mark for De Pury, Gautschi & Co (George Guillaume Gautschi). The case has some small "dings" / surface marking although it is in nice condition for a 1900s piece.

The watch glass has light surface marks from use although very acceptable.

The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack below the sub second dial but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
