Description

An oak Late 17th Century three panel coffer. Having a rectangular two plank top which opens to reveal storage and retaining the original three split pin hinges. The front with a carved frieze above three square panels again with further carved detail. Supported on the original stile feet. In lovely original condition, superb colour and patina and having a charming ancient iron bracket to strengthen the front stile. English circa 1680-1700

Dimensions: 47" wide x 19" deep x 28" high

Condition: This coffer is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
