Gents 1950s Boxed Bulova Gold Filled Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s boxed Bulova gold filled wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 10AK, which is working nicely… this calibre was made between 1936 and 1954. The movement is fully signed.

The watch itself measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs... it would suit a man with a slim wrist or it could be worn by a lady. The case is 10k gold filled and it is in good condition. The winding crown has the Bulova name. The back of the watch has been engraved with a previous owner’s name. The inside of the case back is signed Bulova, Fifth Avenue, New York.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in good condition with just a little marking to the tip of the minute hand. Subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage Bulova box, it is tatty but still good to have.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
