~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
If is profusely decorated with 'C' scrolls and acanthus, the front is fretted to allow a glimpse of the pendulum swinging within. Candelabra are of conforming style with twirling arms of acanthus supporting the four lights and a further one to the centre. Clock and candelabra stand on integral bases.

The dial is cream porcelain enamel with blue letters and a separate minute ring in black. It is complete with original finely fretted gilt hands and Rococo bezel with convex glass.
The French movement is of high quality and is by A. D. Mougin. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled and tested by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The dial is also in excellent condition just some nibbles next to the winding holes. The set makes a stunning display as you can see below.
