Description

An unusual 'Goliath' watch with light up function. A leather bound, velvet lined travelling case holding a battery to power the light at the top of the watch dial, switched on by a button to the top of the case. The enamel dial signed 'J C Vickery' with regent street address and Royal credentials, along with 'M M & Co Patent no 10292'. An 8-day duration movement inside the nickel case. Silver monogram to the front of the case 'LHR'. Circa 1910
