The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American, Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and it has the serial number 19209988 which dates it back to 1913. The movement is a later replacement to the watch. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has hallmarks for Birmingham 1923. The case was made by the English based case maker Aaron Dennison who previously worked at Waltham.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside is a plastic lens in nice condition.
The enamel dial is signed Waltham and is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
