Size: 6ft 4in x 4ft 7in (192 x 140cm).
A good North West Persian village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region.

Circa 1920.
This rug is an outstanding example of Persian village weaving, with a pleasing design and superb soft colours. The rug has a central medallion surrounded by floral sprays. The soft powder blue is a very pleasing colour.
The border has a well-drawn floral design and is also on a powder blue ground.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. A very attractive furnishing rug.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
