Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers C1780

Description

Lovely antique george 111 mahogany chest of drawers and dating from aorund 1780. It has a rounded edge to the rectangular top with cross banded frieze edged with fine inlaid stringing. There are two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are oak lined with original ebiny turned knob handles with original ivory insets and ivory escutcheons. To each side of the chest it is finely strung with satinwood and ebony and stands on splayed bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze with fine stringing.

A lovely quality georgian mahogany chest in good condition with lovely colour and original patination.

Measures: 49" high X 22" deep X 51" wide
