Description

This antique burr walnut drinks cabinet has a stunning exterior & a lovely interior too. The top section, doors, sides & drawers are burr walnut with intricate patterns within the veneers. There are wonderful carvings all over, on the top & all between the tops of the legs & on the feet. There is a very decorative etched brass escutcheon on both doors & the drawers have original brass handles too. It also has canted corners. The inside of this cabinet is sycamore lined, with a mirrored back, bottom ledge & a pull out slide with another mirror inset which is meant to serve drinks on. There is also a light fitting inside, but that will need to be re-wired because of it's age. I would date this cocktail cabinet to around the 1920-30's period & it's in excellent original condition.
