Description

This is an antique serving table dating to the mid-Victorian period c.1860.

Adapted from a former dining table sometime in the last century, this elaborate and attractive serving table is made in the finest mahogany with a deep, dark rich finish and desirable antique patina.

Raised on four massive cabriole legs featuring deep relief carving in shell, foliate and scroll form, the bow fronted, serpentine frieze drawer offers plenty of storage.

The shaped, slab top with moulded edge is delightful displaying attractive grain detail and bearing the hallmarks of a life of service.

Solid and robust with the odd mark and dink as one might expect in a piece of this age, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
