Magnificent Silver and Enamel Wild Game Scene Cigarette Case or Card Case

This is a delightful piece, the theme is very much one of the highlands in winter. At the centre of the painting we have the illusive Capercaillie calling, he is sitting on an almost bare branch with pine trees and snow covered mountains behind, a distinct contrast to the iridescent colours of his breast, a magnificent piece to draw out from your hand bag or pocket, and if you are not a smoker it makes a wonderful card case

The cigarette case is in good but used condition, there is a tiny chip at the top of the enamel, it opens and closes tightly and the German hall marks are clear
