A splendid 19th century Sterling silver cane handle depicting the head of Mestopheles, a demon from German folk law, wearing a hood with moustache and beard the handle is beautifully detailed marked Smith on the ferrule at the front and sterling on the back. This cane handle is in very good condition and measures 4.5cm in length weighing 39g.
