From a private American collection.
A fine English hallmarked silver basket dated 1913 assayed in London and made by Crichton Brothers of London & New York. This eye-catching piece is a good gauge of oval form with a pierced floral foot, the basket is pierced and embossed with decoration around the bowl and has a floral rim with a matching floral handle. The inside of the bowl is engraved HRC and it has a good, crisp hallmark and makers mark on the underside. The basket is in excellent condition with no damage measuring 6 inches tall, 7 ¼ inches long and 6 inches deep weighing 340g or 12 Oz.
