A splendid Russian silver cream jug dated 1894 out of Moscow bearing the makers mark of Aleksandr Alekseyevich Smirnov, bulbous in form standing on three feet with a stylised handle and spout. The jug has a gilt interior and is fully hallmarked on the underside with further marks on the spout & handle, it is in excellent condition and stands 4 ½ inches tall, 3 inches across and 5 inches long, weighing 152g or 5 1/2 Oz.
