~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A lovely, large antique French Sienna marble portico clock set dating from around 1900.
Cupid sits atop with his bow having just unleashed an arrow. Sienna marble is mounted with gilt metal and has a lovely figure.

The pretty dial is porcelain enamel with delicate floral swags between the letters.
The French movement is of high quality and is by the renown maker Samuel Marti It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent, sienna marble has a good polish, there are occasional nibbles to the edges and a small chip to the underside of the base of one of the urns and possibly a repaired crack to one of the pillars. Gilt metal is clean and bright. Dial is excellent with no damage.
