Scottish Provincial Silver Ladles C.1780/90 Francis Howden

Stunning, unusual and rare pair of beautiful Georgian, solid silver ladles. with lovely twist stem design. Both of the ladles bear the highly collectible Scottish Provincial Hallmarks, Circa 1790/80 as well as the maker''s mark: Francis Howden, which are clearly visible to the back of each stem. Tactile and charmingly sized.
Condition:
Each of the ladles are in great antique condition. The silver is not misshappen and there are no visible dents or dings to the silver. Fabulous condition for the age. The Scottish Provincial Thistle mark and maker''s mark are clearly visible.
Hallmarks: Scottish Provincial circa 1790/80 by the maker: Francis Howden.
Measurements:
Each ladle: Length: 15 cm approx (There is a very slight variaton in length of each ladle).
Width of ladle bowl: 4 cm approx.
Combined weight: 46 grams approx.
