Early 20th.c. ‘Jacobethan’ Style Oak Court Cupboard C.1930

Description

Early 20th.c. ‘Jacobethan’ style oak court cupboard c.1930. Carved dragon’s head cornice over two small cupboard doors with architectural mouldings between which is a splendid moustachioed Elizabethan character in a ruff collar. Flanked with turned and carved cup and cover balusters. Large two door cupboard, again with architectural detail to the doors, plus two useful drawers in the waist. Carved frieze below the drawers and a shaped apron between the legs at front and sides. Turned wooded knobs, iron hinges. Excellent quality with solid oak panelled sides, back and floor boards and drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
