Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The front and back legs are bobbin turned with carved details. The stuff-over seat and back panels have been newly reupholstered. Good colour and patina to the oak. One chair has a split to the upright (see photo).

Wear and marks commensurate with age. One chair has a split to the upright near the seat rail (see photo)- this has been glued at some point but is delicate and wouldn’t withstand heavy use, (or someone leaning back on it) the other chair is fine.
