Antique Carved Mahogany Leather Top Desk

Description

This antique mahogany desk is wonderful quality & very solidly built. It's very much in the Chippendale manner, dating from around the 1890-1910 period & is in excellent condition. The writing surface is a hand coloured tooled leather & it is carved all around the top edge. There is more bold carvings on the tops of the legs, plus it has ball & claw feet. This desk has a serpentine shaped front, reeded canted corners, plus panelled sides & a polished panelled back. The drawers have the original brass handles, naturally aged & locks too.
