In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
They are solid and the back is in excellent condition and the feet are sturdy and firm. The drawers are clean and run smoothly. The handles and escutcheons have been changed a long time ago to a different style and this has left some marks and small holes from the previous handles. There are some age related marks and small stains on the top but nothing major. There are also some shrinkage splits on the sides but very much in character with the set and nothing detrimental.
They have been cleaned and lightly waxed and are ready for use. They display beautifully and are a good small size.
