Description

GILLOWS of LANCASTER: a fine quality early-mid 19th century FLOWER or CROCUS TABLE in Gonzales Alvez timber, greatly favoured by Gillows.

Within the circular baluster-turned gallery is a removable top, which when raised (with use of a button-lever underneath) opens to reveal a compartment below for flowers or planted bulbs.

It is raised on a beautifully turned central column of solid Gonzales Alvez, leading to a triform base and pretty compressed bun feet. 31ins high; the top 16ins diameter.(79 x 40.5cms)
