Solid Silver Quaich 1908

A stunning SOLID SILVER QUAICH made by E.S.Barnsley in 1908.

Made in classic Quaich style with two lovely applied handles in the form of stylised bows. The bowl has an applied rim with a geometric pattern and the Quaich stands on a raised base.

This beautiful Quaich is free from any added monograms, engravings or initials is in excellent condition for its age.

(A Quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking cup. The two lugs (or handles) emphasise its symbolism as the cup of friendship. It derives from the Scottish Gaelic word 'cuach', which is translated as 'cup'.)
