A particularly good 19th century French bronze with a wonderful patina depicting a young boy sat in a relaxed pose on a bench with a picnic in a basket next to him, the boy crumbles bread to a couple of waiting ducks with his left hand, while a chicken attempts to steal a larger piece of bread from the distracted boys right hand. This charming bronze is unsigned but the quality of workmanship is clearly apparent, it has a gilt interior and is in excellent overall condition.
