The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, with 17 jewels, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover which has some scratches.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold-filled and was made by the American Watch Case Company, based in Canada. The case has some surface marks and a little unevenness.

The watch glass is in good order with just a few minor marks.
There is a hairline crack around number 4 and, if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there is a very faint hairline crack running across the dial.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
