Victorian Silver & Glass Inkwell 1900

This rare and unusual Victorian SILVER & GLASS INKWELL was made by Frederick Augustus Burridge in 1900.

Of circular form with hinged gadrooned lid this lovely inkwell has a beautiful gadrooned lower half and flat base. Free from any added engravings, monograms or initials, it is complete with the original star cut glass inkwell. The lid has a blank circular cartouche that could be used to personalise this superb piece.

In excellent condition, free from any nasty knocks or dents and showing very little sign of age despite being over 115 years old, this rare piece would make a lovely gift, would look terrific on any desk or would add to any collection.
